Maricopa County’s growth brings opportunity—but not everyone has equal access, especially those starting a business. A New Leaf’s MesaCAN Economic Development Program (MCEDP) helps bridge that gap by supporting current and aspiring entrepreneurs from low- to moderate-income backgrounds with technical assistance, free workshops, and personalized mentoring.

Through regular classes led by industry professionals, MCEDP equips small business owners with essential skills—from business basics to advanced, industry-specific topics—helping them stay competitive and make informed decisions.

MCEDP also partners with A New Leaf’s Assets to Opportunity (ATO) program to offer a 3:1 savings match for business investments. For details, contact (480) 258-6927 x 3416 or ATO@turnanewleaf.org.
