Assets to Opportunity
The Assets to Opportunity (ATO) program offers 8:1 matched savings for education, 3:1 matched savings for small business, and financial literacy workshops.
Financial Wellness
Financial Wellness offers financial literacy classes and resources at no cost. Resources include personal finance classes, homeownership education, access to lending circles, and more.
MesaCAN
Mesa Community Action Network (MesaCAN) helps low-income households across Mesa with rental and utility assistance. Additional services include employment support, financial planning, education services, weatherization support, and health services.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program is a powerful anti-poverty tool in which IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to low-to-moderate income households.

Workforce Services
A New Leaf’s Workforce Services programs help all job seekers secure employment, create a plan for more stable employment, or move up in the workplace. Dedicated staff members help individuals develop resumes, secure job interviews, and connect with employers.
Bankwork$
BankWork$ is an entirely free program that prepares individuals for a career in the financial sector. The program covers essential skills and information needed to succeed in the financial sector such as business etiquette, money handling procedures, and banking regulations.
Second Chance Program
A New Leaf’s Second Chance Program provides housing and re-entry assistance to previously justice involved individuals residing in Maricopa County. This program helps to reduce challenges to housing and employment.

A New Leaf believes that anyone should be able to achieve their dreams of starting their own business, or growing their existing business. We support our local economy by providing assistance and resources to small businesses ready to start or expand.
MesaCAN Economic Development Program (MCEDP)
The MesaCAN Economic Development Program (MCEDP) is made up of Business Professionals committed to achieving success for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Veterans Business Outreach Center
VBOC provides business training, counseling, and resource partner referrals, to transitioning service members, Veterans, National Guards, Reserve Members, and military spouses interested in starting or growing a small business.
