For more than 50 years, A New Leaf has has provided life-changing services to individuals and families across the Valley during some of life’s most difficult moments. Through homelessness services, domestic violence support, housing programs, and community resources, the organization has helped tens of thousands of people find safety, stability, and hope.

Now, A New Leaf is entering an important new chapter.

Following a thoughtful and comprehensive search led by A New Leaf’s Board of Directors and CEO Transition Committee, Brandon E. Dale has been selected as the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2026.

An Experienced Leader with Clear, Bold Vision

As A New Leaf enters its next chapter under the leadership of CEO Brandon E. Dale, we are building toward a future that is not only sustainable, but transformational.

Brandon brings a deep belief that the future of A New Leaf must be shaped intentionally, collaboratively, and courageously. His vision is rooted in three clear commitments: building the future our community needs, reaching more neighbors in need, and transforming outcomes for the people we serve.

1. Build the Future Our Community Needs

The needs facing our community are evolving, and A New Leaf must continue evolving alongside them.

Brandon believes A New Leaf cannot simply respond to a crisis as it emerges. The organization must help shape a stronger future for the individuals, families, and communities we serve. That means building the capacity, community support, and flexibility needed to grow with purpose and meet emerging challenges with compassion and innovation.

Too often, nonprofit organizations are constrained by systems that prioritize short-term outputs over long-term transformation. Brandon’s vision is for A New Leaf to become an organization that is empowered to listen deeply, adapt thoughtfully, and respond to what the community truly needs, both today and in the future.

Through stronger community partnerships and increased philanthropic investment, A New Leaf can continue expanding its impact while remaining rooted in its mission of helping people find safety, stability, and hope.

2. Reach More Neighbors

A stronger and more responsive organization allows A New Leaf to do what matters most: serve more people in meaningful ways.

Across Arizona, too many of our neighbors still face homelessness, domestic violence, housing instability, and barriers to opportunity without access to the support they need. Brandon’s vision is to expand A New Leaf’s reach so that more individuals and families can find safety, stability, and a path forward.

That means growing programs strategically, strengthening partnerships across the community, and expanding services where needs are greatest. Under Brandon’s leadership, growth will be about increasing access, removing barriers, and ensuring more people can receive life-changing support when they need it most.

3. Transform What’s Possible

A New Leaf’s future is also about helping people achieve lasting change with support that truly changes the trajectory of their lives.

Brandon believes success should not only be measured by the number of services delivered, but by whether individuals and families are able to achieve greater stability, independence, safety, and opportunity over time.

That requires listening deeply to clients, learning from frontline staff, and creating a culture where innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact are prioritized. It also requires the ability to adapt. Philanthropic support allows A New Leaf to strengthen programs, explore new solutions, and respond to evolving community needs in ways that are often difficult within traditional systems alone.

The goal is to continuously improve how A New Leaf serves people, building programs informed by data, shaped by lived experience, and designed to create lasting impact for generations to come.

Building the Future of A New Leaf

Brandon’s leadership philosophy places strong emphasis on collaboration and culture. He believes the strongest organizations are built by listening to diverse perspectives and empowering people at every level of the organization to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, and work together toward shared goals.

As A New Leaf moves into this next chapter, the organization remains grounded in the values that have shaped its work for decades: compassion, accountability, integrity, collaboration, conscientiousness, and a passion for results. Those values will continue guiding the work ahead.

He also believes the organization must continue evolving alongside the changing needs of the community by strengthening partnerships, investing in innovation, and remaining flexible enough to respond thoughtfully to emerging challenges.

Under Brandon’s leadership, growth will focus not only on expanding programs, but on increasing access, removing barriers, and ensuring more individuals and families can find support when they need it most.

Brandon also believes success should be measured by whether individuals and families are able to achieve lasting stability, safety, independence, and opportunity over time.

Brandon’s Family, Personal Journey, and Values

In his personal life, Brandon is a devoted husband, father, and family man. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 28 years and have built a life centered on faith, service, and supporting others. Together, they have raised three children, each pursuing their own path of making a difference in the lives of others.

Their son, Aidan, is studying nursing and preparing for a career in healthcare. Their daughter, Natalie, works as a personal care provider supporting youth with autism, helping them navigate daily challenges and achieve greater independence. Their youngest daughter, Ava, recently graduated from high school and is preparing to begin her college journey in Texas.

Family remains at the heart of Brandon’s life and leadership. Those who know him describe him as approachable, grounded, and deeply committed to helping people reach their potential. The same values that guide him at home—compassion, integrity, accountability, and a belief in the dignity of every person—are reflected in his vision for A New Leaf and the communities it serves.

After a distinguished career dedicated to improving lives through healthcare, Brandon views his work at A New Leaf as the next chapter in his journey of service, and perhaps the most meaningful. He believes that helping families overcome homelessness, supporting survivors of domestic violence, and creating pathways to self-sufficiency is among the most important work anyone can do. Under his leadership, A New Leaf is well-positioned to build on its legacy of impact while expanding opportunities for those seeking a brighter future.
