Alex’s Story
Alex felt utterly hopeless. He had no way to contact his family or even search for resources that might help him. He ended up finding refuge behind some bushes at a church, where he stayed homeless for several weeks.
Rodney’s Story
Rodney was a veteran with PTSD and struggled to work as a truck driver when he returned to civilian life. He ended up dealing with addiction and homelessness, and thought he would never recover.
Charles’ Story
Charles never imagined that he would end up homeless. He had a good childhood and a loving family, but in his late teens Charles developed a drug addiction that followed him for years, damaging his relationship to his family and friends.
Foster Care Awareness Month 2022
Foster Care Awareness Month is an annual campaign to raise awareness about the foster care system. This month of awareness aims to celebrate all foster parents and volunteers, as well as the children who are currently living in foster care.

Brandi’s Story
I was 27 years old, addicted to meth, homeless, hopeless, facing incarceration and contemplating suicide. Just when I thought my life couldn’t get worse, I found out that I was pregnant. I was so scared. I couldn’t even take care of myself. How was I going to care for a child?
Linette’s Story
I am graduating from the program this week and already have a job offer from Wells Fargo, in the area I wanted to work. I never thought my life could change so dramatically, so quickly. This will help me achieve so much.

West Valley Housing Assistance Center Ground Breaking
On November 18th, 2022 A New Leaf hosted a Ground Breaking Ceremony to start construction on the West Valley’s newest family homeless shelter! This new program will be the first of it’s kind in the West Valley, and will serve hundreds of families facing homelessness in the area.

With One Voice 2022
A New Leaf’s first annual With One Voice 2022 Luncheon brought together 150 passionate attendees to create change, bring awareness, and assist survivors of domestic violence in Arizona.
