providing safety and support to survivors of abuse

A New Leaf’s Autumn House Domestic Violence Shelter offers a secure home to survivors fleeing abuse. Survivors find all the necessary resources and services to get back on their feet. Autumn House serves anyone who is a victim of domestic violence, regardless of gender

Autumn House was the East Valley’s first domestic violence shelter that has provided services to the community since 1983. It operates 24/7, accepting survivors during all times throughout the year. This shelter is pet friendly and able to accommodate furry friends!

When a survivor arrives, safety is the top priority. Dedicated staff members are immediately assigned to support survivors. They establish a normal schedule, help them find employment through a dedicated workforce center, secure transportation, and start counseling services to move past the trauma of abuse.

Hosted at a confidential location, Autumn House staff works around the clock to protect survivors. Additionally, court advocacy is available to help assure legal protections for those who need it.

Once a survivor is prepared to move into long-term housing, Autumn House staff assist with the transition. Optional services and program connections are offered for up to six months after the survivor leaves the program. Through our network of support, A New Leaf ensures no one faces domestic violence alone.
